Greenfield Canal Volunteers - Balsam Bash Saturday 14th August

It's been a long time since our last meet up but following a consultation this Tuesday  morning with Canal and River Trust volunteer co-ordinators We are very happy to confirm that we are resuming activities on the Greenfield section of the towpath.

We are meeting at 10am this Saturday 14th August at the Royal George Mills Entrance to the towpath for a balsam bash, cutting back of overgrown vegetation and litter pick. We apologise for the short notice but we wanted to get started as soon as possible to catch the balsam before it seeded itself.
All equipment will be provided but please wear clothing/footwear suitable for the weather conditions on the day.

We looking forward to catching up with you all again and hope you are able to join us this weekend. We are in the process of agreeing meeting dates for the remainder of the year and 2022 and will let you have these as soon as possible.

We hope to see you soon but if you have any comments or queries please do get in touch.
