 An evening of fun and serious poetry by the recently formed group of seven feisty and like-minded poets, five women and two men, all of whom live in or near the Lydgate area.

Tickets, £5.00 to include a White Hart supper, are available from Hilary Robinson (07952 225318) or from the White Hart.

A fully licensed bar will also be available on the night.
Spelk - northern English or Scottish (specifically Newcastle or Geordie dialect) meaning a small splinter of wood. Usually referred to in this way when embedded in the hand, thumb, fingers or other soft and tender part of the body...

So, beware! The Seven Spelks intend to make themselves felt!..............
