SUMMARY:Greenfield Canal Volunteers Meet Up - Tuesday 22nd September 2026
DESCRIPTION:We will be meeting at 10am on Tuesday 22nd September at Hall's Lock\, Off Hall's Way\, Greenfield. If you're arriving by car access is via Wellington Road or you can park on Chapel Road and walk down the footpath to the towpath.  \n\nOur main task will be putting spring bulbs into the planters and potentially extending the existing planters\, but there are always other jobs such as litter picking\, cutting back overgrown vegetation and clearing/brushing down steps that need to be done too.\n\n\nAll equipment will be provided but please wear clothing/footwear suitable for the weather conditions on the day.\n\nIf this week isn't convenient for you dates for the rest of this year and early 2027 have now been agreed and we hope you'll be able to come along and join us:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOctober 2026 - Saturday 10th & Tuesday 20th\nNovember 2026 - Saturday 14th & Tuesday 24th\nDecember 2026 - Saturday 5th\nJanuary 2027 - Saturday 9th & Tuesday 19th\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA link to our album of previous working party photos is below.
