Greenfield Canal Volunteers Meet Up - Saturday 13th June
June 13 @ 10:00 - 13:00
We will be meeting at 10am this Saturday 13th June at Division Bridge, off Calf Lane, Greenfield. If you're arriving by car access is via Calf Lane (off Manchester Road) and there is parking at the cricket club.
Our main task will be putting down a fresh layer of stone on the footpath, but there are always other jobs such as litter picking, cutting back overgrown vegetation and clearing/brushing down steps that need to be done too.
All equipment will be provided but please wear clothing/footwear suitable for the weather conditions on the day.
If this weekend isn't convenient for you dates for the first half of 2026 are below and I will shortly publish dates for the remainder of 2026 and early 2027:
June - Tuesday 30th
July - Tuesday 21st
A link to our album of previous working party photos is below. You're welcome to share and/or upload any photos you take while volunteering with us:
If you have ideas on how we can improve your volunteering experience, activities we can undertake or improvements that can be made on our adopted section on the towpath do let me know.
We hope to see you soon.
