Greenfield Canal Volunteers Meet Up - Tuesday 21st April
April 21 @ 10:00 - 13:00
We will be meeting at 10am this Tuesday 21st April at the Royal George Mills entrance to the towpath. If you're arriving by car there is street parking on Church Road, Friezland.
Our main task will be putting down some stone around the lock edges to alleviate any trip hazards, but there are always other jobs such as litter picking, cutting back overgrown vegetation and clearing/brushing down steps that need to be done too. All equipment will be provided but please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather conditions on the day.
If this week isn't convenient for you dates for the first half of 2026 are below:
May - Saturday 9th & Tuesday 19th
June - Saturday 13th & Tuesday 30th
July - Saturday 11th & Tuesday 21st
We hope to see you soon
