Anyone walking along the canal towpath can’t help but notice the significant improvements made by our volunteers and members of the Canal and River Trust. Grano gravel has been laid to enhance the surface, and overgrown foliage and shrubs have been cleared. Our upcoming sessions are on Tuesday, 23rd September, and Saturday, 11th October, starting at 10:00 am. We’ll meet at the Well-i-hole canal bridge, and equipment and refreshments will be provided. Volunteers are greatly appreciated to help improve the area before winter sets in, and you’re welcome to stay for as long or short a time as you can manage.
