Greenfield Canal Volunteers Project Day - Saturday 6th August

You may already be aware that a large tree branch fell down last week damaging some of the fencing on the Greenfield to Uppermill stretch of the towpath.
To make this safe we are going to carry out repairs this Saturday 6th August.
Alternatively you can help with other tasks such as litter picking, brushing down steps and/or cutting back over grown vegetation.
The meeting point is Hall's Lock, off Hall's Way, Greenfield at 10am. Access by car is via Wellington Road. Equipment will be provided but please wear clothing/boots suitable for the weather conditions on the day.
Children are welcome to come along to help but must be accompanied by an adult.
