Greenfield Canal Task Force Project Day - Saturday 4th June
This Saturday we will be meeting at Hall's Lock, off Hall's Way, Greenfield at 10am. Access by car is via Wellington Road. In a slight change to our usual format we will be making up two working parties:
1. We will be continuing work on replacing the wooden fencing between the canal and river.
2. The dog training centre at Greenfield have asked for our assistance in tidying up the boundary of their land which borders on to the canal towpath. This will includes tasks such as cutting back vegetation, litter picking etc.
You are welcome to decide on the day which work party you would prefer to join or you can swap between the two. Equipment will be provided but please wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions on the day.
